Emerging designer impresses with ‘EGAN ODODO’ capsule collection that fuses sexy, cool and cosy
March 1st 2021, London
Print and Fashion Designer at Yemzi, Elizabeth-Yemi Akingbade, has just released her fourth collection online.
The collection titled ‘Egan Ododo’, Yoruba for ‘Wild Flower’, brings casual comfort and practicality with a youthful edge across eight stunning looks. Her signature ‘abstract animal’ print returns in a toxic brown and lime colourway, the result of removing dyes from the previous collections fabrics, in an effort to reduce fabric waste. Look four maxi dress with a matching corset and mini-skirt sums up the need for intimacy yet being restricted and isolated.
A perfect balance of sexy, cool and cosy, reflective of the youth in our current times. Although at home the wild flower is still seen virtually and is counting down the days until June 21st when the British government plans to release its national lockdown.
The collection is available exclusively at www.yemzi.com
